Why did you get into CrossFit?
My husband introduced CrossFit to me. I had been doing the regular gym thing – long bouts of cardio on machines and light weights, CrossFit changed all this. The changes were almost immediate and the workouts became addictive.
Why did you become a trainer?
I am a perfectionist so helping people perfect a movement gives me so much joy and is so rewarding. The progress working towards a goal has been a highlight.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
I love the complex movements and watching some one improve in those movements. Helping people take small steps towards achieving these goals is a great feeling.
What’s your favorite CrossFit Movement?
Snatch! Love it
What do you do to relax away from the gym?
Kids, I love the beach/pool/ day out with the family.
What’s your advice for somebody getting started with CrossFit?
It honestly is not that intimidating, everyone has been where you have been, everyone started as a beginner at some point.
