Why did you get into CrossFit?
A Personal Trainer who I was working with made me do a CrossFit workout with him and it challenged me so much that I needed to give it a proper go. Since then I have never looked back as all areas of my fitness have improved dramatically.
Why did you become a trainer?
Was a high school PE teacher for 8 years and played professional sport, felt like a good fit.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The impact we have on people lives. Seeing the relationships we build and foster every single day. Going back and looking at some of our members photos who have been with us for 3-5 years and seeing the transformations is quite rewarding.
What’s your favorite CrossFit Movement?
Wall Balls and Rowing, preferably together in a WOD
What do you do to relax away from the gym?
Hanging with my family at the beach and some fishing.
What’s your advice for somebody getting started with CrossFit?
Consistency is the key to success. Changes don’t happen over night but they do happen one small step at a time.
